Rylan, 36, couldn’t hide his disbelief when he shared the news on Instagram. Posting the official BAFTA shortlist, he wrote: “I can’t believe I’m saying this… we’re nominated for a @bafta! Thank you to everyone who watched.”

Rob, ever the wordsmith, responded with a touching tribute to their friendship, quoting: “There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship.” He then praised Rylan directly, calling him “intelligent, compassionate, and wonderful.”

The Good Morning Britain star also posted about the nomination, recalling Rylan’s earlier prediction: “He said we’d either get cancelled or win a BAFTA… looks like we’re still in the game!”

Fellow celebrities were quick to congratulate them. Ruth Langsford gushed, “This is amazing—so well deserved!” while Susanna Reid called the show “brilliant television.” Fans echoed the sentiment, with one writing, “Your chemistry is everything—can’t wait for India!”
