Amber Hall was thrilled when she finally closed on her first home—a spacious house in Colorado with plenty of room for her two children and dogs. But her excitement turned to dread when she discovered the property’s dark secret.
While unpacking, her dog froze, fixated on the wall. Amber followed its gaze and recoiled in horror—snakes were emerging from small gaps.
A professional confirmed the snakes had likely been there for years, growing larger than typical garter snakes. Amber has since spent hundreds on removal, but the fear lingers. “I can’t relax in my own home,” she said.
Though her children still enjoy the house, Amber may need to tear up walls and floors to fully reclaim her space.
