Bindi Irwin has faced more than her share of challenges, but few have been as difficult as living with endometriosis. The condition, which causes severe pain and can lead to infertility, went undiagnosed for years—leaving Bindi feeling dismissed and alone. Now, she’s opening up about the emotional toll it’s taken, including one question she wishes people would stop asking.
From the outside, Bindi’s life seemed perfect. She married Chandler Powell in 2020 and later welcomed their daughter, Grace. But behind the scenes, she was struggling with debilitating pain that doctors couldn’t—or wouldn’t—acknowledge. “I started doubting myself,” she admitted. “No one believed me, not even some of my friends.”
When she finally got her diagnosis, she hoped sharing her story would help others. Instead, she was overwhelmed by the number of women who reached out with similar experiences. “It broke my heart,” she said. “So many had suffered in silence for even longer than I had.”
One of the most painful parts of her journey has been the constant questions about expanding her family. Endometriosis makes pregnancy difficult, and while Bindi and Chandler feel blessed to have Grace, they’re often asked if they’ll have more children. “We get asked daily,” Chandler revealed.
Bindi’s response was heartfelt. “Grace is our miracle,” she said. “We’re so happy as a family of three, but you never know what the future holds.” She also urged people to think before asking personal questions. “Just because someone looks fine doesn’t mean they haven’t been through struggles you can’t imagine.”
Her message resonated with fans, many of whom praised her for raising awareness about endometriosis. By speaking out, Bindi is helping to break the silence around women’s health—one painful truth at a time.
