Sunrise, Florida – A senseless act of violence has claimed the life of Hailey Hosford, a 27-year-old hairstylist and wellness advocate whose bright personality touched countless lives. The shocking attack occurred in the parking garage of an upscale apartment complex where Hosford was staying temporarily.
According to police documents, the incident began when Jackson Sagesse Jr., 21, allegedly approached Hosford’s car armed with a knife. Surveillance footage shows Hosford attempting to seek safety in her vehicle, but Sagesse reportedly forced entry. The situation turned deadly when Hosford suffered multiple stab wounds to her neck area.
A friend who came to Hosford’s aid was also stabbed in the throat but survived to alert authorities. Investigators later recovered two steak knives – one from the crime scene and another from Sagesse’s possession.
