The Morning Latte Surprise

After fifty years of marriage, Edith was determined to spice things up with Harold. During her doctor’s visit, she lamented, “He won’t even consider medication for his… situation.” Dr. Peterson chuckled and slid a small packet across his desk. “Try this in his morning coffee. We call it the Dublin Delight.”

The next morning at their favorite café, Edith watched nervously as Harold sipped his doctored espresso. Suddenly, his newspaper dropped to the floor. Color rushed to his face as he grabbed Edith’s hand. “What’s gotten into you?” she pretended to protest as Harold practically dragged her toward the restroom.

When Edith returned to Dr. Peterson the following week, her face was flushed. “That Dublin Delight worked like magic!” she said. “Harold was like a twenty-year-old again! But now we can’t go back to Mocha Mike’s – the manager said our ‘bathroom escapades’ disturbed the other customers.” She sighed dramatically. “I suppose some sacrifices are worth making for marital happiness… though I’ll miss their cinnamon rolls.”
