During a fierce blizzard, a priest and a nun stumbled upon a small cabin, exhausted from their journey. Inside, they found only one bed, a pile of blankets, and a sleeping bag.
The priest, ever the gentleman, insisted, “Sister, take the bed. I’ll sleep on the floor.”
But as soon as he zipped himself into the sleeping bag, the nun shivered. “Father, I’m so cold.”
He dutifully got up, draped a blanket over her, and settled back in. Moments later, she complained again. “I’m still freezing!”
After repeating this routine twice more, the priest finally had an idea. “Sister,” he said with a sly grin, “since we’re alone in the wilderness, why don’t we pretend we’re married?”
The nun smiled sweetly. “That sounds lovely.”
The priest crossed his arms. “Great! Then get your own blanket!”
A playful reminder that even the most patient people have their limits!
