As Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal battle continues, Donald Trump has been asked whether he’d pardon the music icon if found guilty. The rapper faces serious charges, including sex trafficking—claims he has repeatedly denied.
The trial has drawn widespread attention, with testimonies from Combs’ ex-partner Cassie Ventura and other witnesses adding fuel to the case. During a recent press conference, Trump was questioned about the possibility of a pardon.
“I haven’t been following it closely,” Trump admitted, “but if someone asked, I’d certainly review the facts.” He added that while no one had formally requested a pardon yet, the topic was being discussed.
Trump also reflected on his past friendship with Diddy, noting that they hadn’t spoken in years. “He was a good friend before I entered politics,” Trump said. “But things changed—some negative statements appeared, and that was that.”
Still, Trump stressed that his decisions would be based on justice, not personal connections. “If someone was wronged, it wouldn’t matter if they liked me or not,” he said. “My focus is on what’s right.”
