The Shocking Truth About My Husband’s Home Office

Share

I thought my husband was a hardworking provider. Then I opened his office door and discovered the truth—one that ended our marriage.

Jake loved playing the “busy entrepreneur.” He’d lock himself in his office, claiming he was “networking” or “closing deals,” while I handled everything else: the kids, the house, the bills. But no matter how hard I worked, we were always broke.

Then, one day, I accidentally dropped a pan in the kitchen. Jake came storming out, yelling about how I’d disrupted his “meeting.” That’s when I heard a woman’s voice coming from his computer.

Curious, I pushed past him—and found him video-chatting with an online gamer named Suzy.

“This is what you’ve been doing all day?” I asked, my voice shaking.

Jake shrugged. “You’re no fun anymore. Suzy gets me.”

The next day, his mother called with the final twist: Suzy was a scammer who’d been tricking Jake into sending money.

I filed for divorce the next week.

Now, as a single mom, I’m finally in control of my life. And Jake? He’s still looking for his next “Suzy.”
