For Captain Edward Blair, it was just another routine flight—until he spotted a man who hadn’t left the plane. As he got closer, his heart stopped. The passenger looked exactly like him.
“Adam?” Edward asked, his voice trembling.
His twin brother’s eyes were filled with resentment. “Mom’s waiting.”
The car ride to Adam’s home was tense. Edward learned that after he’d been adopted, their mother had returned to the orphanage, devastated to find only Adam. She’d spent years blaming herself for losing Edward.
When Edward saw her—frail, in a wheelchair—he broke down. “I’m so sorry, Mom.”
Adam remained distant. “You left us. Now you’re leaving again for France.”
But Edward couldn’t go. Days later, he moved his family into the house across the street. “I’m not losing you again,” he told his mother.
Slowly, the brothers began to heal. Edward helped Adam propose to his girlfriend, while Adam finally let go of his anger. Together, they gave their mother the happy ending she deserved.
