An eighty-year-old man was getting ready to head out one morning, carefully putting on his coat. His wife, watching him from her comfortable chair, asked him where he was off to. He told her quite matter-of-factly that he was on his way to see the doctor.
Naturally concerned, his wife asked if he was feeling unwell. He responded that he was perfectly fine. Instead, he explained that he intended to ask the doctor for a prescription for some of those new Via4ra pills he had been hearing about.
Upon hearing this, his wife didn’t miss a beat. She calmly got up out of her rocking chair and reached for her sweater. Now it was the husband’s turn to be curious, and he asked where she thought she was going.
She looked at him straight-faced and delivered her brilliant punchline. She stated that if he was planning on dusting off and using that rusty old thing again, then she was most certainly going to the doctor to get herself a tetanus shot.
